I am told this bike has all/most upgrades that were available. Here is a list:
Hepco and Becker Hard Bag system (frame/bags/tail rack)
Rear Ohlins Suspension Upgrade
Front Forks rebuilt ($2.4k)
Garmin GPS
Remus Exhaust and full header pipes
Stock exhaust and header pipes
Both Street wheels (w/conti attack rubber)
- and dirt wheels with fresh knobby tires this summer
New Odyssey Battery 2018 (last one was 9 years faithful)
Razco Seat
Under seat aluminum tank with 2-way transfer pump
Full crash bars
New Brakes front/rear
Likely forgetting many other items (some in pics)
Rear Drive was serviced approximately 1400 kms ago with all bearings replaced and re greasing/fluids. Valves were serviced/adjusted last year. All maintenance and fluids are up to date.
Bike is not quite mint but in very good condition with minor scuffs on the crash bars, etc.
zero issues.

Here is a pic with the bags attached. I find it easier to strap my tent and gear across the back without a top case. Keeps the weight lower.

Still having challenges uploading pictures? Any recommendations??

This bike was imported from USA to Canada 4-5 years ago. Went through numerous upgrades and is in perfect mechanical condition. Hopefully this thread can show this bike is actively for sale again.

Cheers

Would love some extra pics (perhaps host on imgur.com) of the bags. How would one re-register a CN bike? I thought that was really difficult.

Uploading pics to this site seems a huge challenge and no feedback from the admins...but if you offer an email I can send some. I understand the particulars vary state to state so you would have to check your area you wish to register. The fact that the motor, etc are stock and the Speedo still in miles should simplify the process.

Here are the pics I just received from the seller. His HP2 looks to be perfectly set up with a ton of nice upgrades. I wish I had the cash to buy this one.

Not sure about the registration in the US. I have 10K USD that I can offer. But I live in LA so if you can deliver it to Bent Oregon I have some friends there that could receive the bike for me.
The bike would get a good home that is for sure, I have a 99 1100RT that I purchased new and I put 105K Miles on the bike.
Runs perfect and planning many more miles.

I respectfully decline your offer for $10K. I simply have too many bikes and not enough room.

Please do not confuse "motivated" with "desperate". The options alone on this bike exceed your offer Detlef Herrmann. There is wiggle room for Fair Offers!

The import isn't that tough. In Colorado you basically need a letter from BMW saying it meets US emissions which it does because all North American bikes met both Canada and US regs. You present that to US Customs along with some tax (not huge) and they issue a certificate for import and for the state. That certificate, title and the bill of sale will get it registered.

As a seller, I would recommend getting in touch with a BMW dealer to get a copy of the emissions compliance letter just to have it handy for a buyer and also maybe check around for an export agent in your area to refer a US buyer to. Dealers will usually know of some.

The tough part is figuring out how to own/sell it while going through all of that and without risk of loss to either party. That's where an import export agent can be helpful.

For $300 +/- you can find an import/export agent that will do that for you. Or so I was told when I was looking at another HP2 in Vancouver a while back that was going for $16.5k. I've never actually done an import but was a well into the process when another Canuk bought the bike.

My othert bike I had imported was a Husqvarna (while BMW owned them). And the only additional item of note is the "Recall Clearance Letter" which I also have a copy of with this bike. Thanks Tabasco for adding clarity for everyone!
