I am looking to fit a stem mounted "nav tower" to my HP2. Problem is the ignition module is in the way. Is anyone aware of an alternative top clamp that is "bolt on", that would allow me to relocate the ignition module?

For those who have fitted the WP forks, I imagine you changed the top clamp? Where did the ignition go?

Most folks use the stock top clamp with the WP forks

Have you looked at the OEM BMW Navigator Mount?

Still available at MAXBMW; I just ordered one about a month ago.

It uses the headlight bolts and the Gauge Mounting Plate.

@hamish71

Any updates?

I have similar idea but I could not find any info regarding this topic.

Most used lower clamp only, MST have complete kit but it is pricey. I did read on some german forum that someone did install xtrig triple clamp but without any additional info like how he overcome ignition problems.

Cheers.

I also just picked up the Nav mount but haven't installed it yet. I will get around to it soon.

Just found this video. It is not about HP2 but it might be a possible solution how to relocate ignition. I know it is a long shot but who knows .

Part 1:

Part 2:

I presume that it is possible to use x-trig for KTM, change stem and make some kind of adapter for ignition.
