I'm sure that plenty of light is coming out from these 8''s but it reminds me of someone...

Just kidding!
I'm working on a project, too, with powerful LEDs and dimensions as small as a single Hella Micro DE.
When it will be finished I'll post pictures.

Ken,

I am liking your set up. Can you show us more pics from different angles and from rider point of view? Does it serve as a good windscreen?

Thanks. by BOSERO

iagos: I was thinking more of the Wall-E movie that came out a while back smile

Bosero: I would be happy to post more pics when I get the bike back from service (it ate a valve on Monday:(
The lights are a great windscreen and I put some though into how to mount them and still be able to take them off in under a minute. I am very happy with the setup and will post enough pics so anyone can make up the same rig. Might be a couple of weeks for the post though. by KenHawthorn

Hi:) I'm looking to improve my headlight as its on the dim side. First attempt was a replacement LED unit which isn't a good fit and not sure its actually any brighter. Replacing the 55W bulb with a bright 80w ( and 100w) is a definite improvement but am not sure how the electrics will take to that? In the 7 yrs since the last post has anyone come up with a good solution?

Thanks!

I put the EURO headlight glass and a bright bulb on my HP2 and it was a great improvement. MaxBmw used to list it on their site but I don't see it anymore. Maybe some are still around. by oldfool

Hi Richard,

Thanks for that, I hadn't thought of the headlight glass, I bought in in South Africa but hadn't thought the glass spec would be different. off to search for EURO glass!
