Hey DD -
I can't wait to see a pic of it on the bike and read a ride report from you. Looks really nice!

Awesome, both look great.

What Metzeler tire is that? Tourance? Like them?

The HP2 isn't shorter than the GSA is it? Probably just perspective. by marret

Yes, those are the original Tourance's. I have them on three of my bikes and have used them for 10 years.

I love them for mostly on-road riding and usually keep them on a spare wheel set and change them out as needed. They get about 8k miles a set with aggressive canyon carving type riding and actually handle like a performance road tire but still allow mild forest road type riding. I actually used them on my first trip to Inuvik and the Dempster. They made it from Denver to Inuvik and back to Edmonton before the Dempster shale damage finally started to show through. On that 1150, I can lean them enough to hit the bags onthe twisties.

The 1150 is a tall bike but not quite as tall as the HP2. In these pics it's on the center stand which adds another 2 inches or so. by Tabasco

Thanks. Great two bikes to own.

I rode to Deadhorse and then part of the way up the Dempster. I was on my Multistrada and using TKC80s.
