Got myself a new suit today, not with Goretex but a new fabric from Schoeller called C-Change. It works like a pineapple, cold closes the membrane, warm opens it so you loose heat and vapor.

I wore the suit for about an hour in the shop, and outside in 9 degrees centigrade and it did seem to work.

Anyways, the suit fits great and is of great quality.

The Spirit C-Change jacket is developed using the latest fabric technologies available, making this jacket top in its class.

It is designed to wear in all weather conditions, with the outside fused with a Schoeller Technology, called C-Change. This makes the jacket extremely breathable and keeps the body at the perfect temperature, all the time.

No, I wanted to try it first and since I liked the shop owner and got a discount I just got it right there and then!

Anyway, the quality and fit is great, now hoping it works, this new technology!

Any recent reviews on your new riding gear? Am interested in it. Is it waterproof without being too hot? Do you need an inner liner for it to be waterproof or is the jacket by itself waterproof already? How are the armors/padding? Thanks.

It is waterproof from the outside, you don't need a lining. You do have a very nice cold weather lining which zips in. You can actually also wear that as a normal jacket as well, looks like an expensive softshell, very nice quality and fit.

I had the suit on for an hour in the shop and it felt very comfortable, not hot so I decided to get it. I'm an early adopter so I bought it without seeing any proper reviews. I did came a cross it on a Belgian forum and the guy that had it was very satisfied...

Expensive? Well, that depends on much you have to spend. I paid 770 euros after discount which I consider, compared to BMW gear, not bad!

I picked up my bike today (yeah!) and had my new suit on.
As promised, when you exercise it opens up and you cool off, especially on the chilly day we had today. Now I just need to wait till summer to really try out.

Anyway, the suit fits great, no regrets here!

Good to hear your bike is back and you are enjoying your suit.
How is the armor of the suit?
What do you like about the suit?
What don't you like about the suit?

The armor is pretty standard, knees, elbows, some padding here and there and the obligatory back protector.

What I like is the fabric & quality and definitely the weight which is extremely low. About half the weight of a BMW Savannah suit but yet very strong material.

The suit is not the warmest, with the lining in it felt chilly riding with about 10c. But then again, I only had a thin cotton long sleeve shirt on. Next time I'll wear thermo!

Don't like: don't know yet. If I have to say anything it would be the long and too strong velcro strip over the zipper.

I love my Sidi Sabers! I took off my toe clips but Im thinking about putting them back on. What do they really do?

My screen name is kind of long. I am the "ME" part, my name is Cory.

Your attitude makes an adventure out of a difficult situation. So, its all in your head.

I think they're just to show off. I changed the Sabres (1 size too big) for the Sidi Discoveries and I'm thinking of taking the toe clips off! It's terrible when you're trying to, while sitting on the bike, push the back backwards while on tarmac!
